1b      I became a member when I stumbled onto this site by accident,( best accident I've ever been envolved in) became a lifer because at the time I had the money to spare, next to the vette and the little lady, best investment I've ever made.

2  Even though I haven't been to any gatherings or met any of you I feel as though I have, to a certain degree, once I get my vette rebuilt I'll definitely take a more physical interest especially on line.
3  The membership pay's for itself because while I haven't started on my vette yet, ( because I'm close to finishing my garage for the vette) this site keeps you envolved wether it's about C3's or daily issue's, no other site offers the knowledge or the family feeling that is within this membership. Thanks to Adam for starting this site and to the moderators and members for keeping it up.
As Tony the tiger always said it's grrrrrrrrrrreat!!!!!Clap  Thumbs%20Up

1b) Why do you continue to be a member (for RENEW or LIFE members)

Great group and excellent advice.  In fact, answers to questions are almost instantaneous.  Do some of you have C3VR beepers????

2) What value(s) do you feel you are getting by being a member?

The knowledge is priceless.  The entertainment is great.

3) How do you value your membership here compared to similar memberships (paid or not). In other words...what differentiates C3VR from other similar sites?

The personal, friendly interaction is unique.  No question is considered "dumb" and no one is ridiculed.  The few times things have gotten a little tense, Adam stops it (which is great)!

1) I belong because I enjoy the time in here, I made lots of pals too
2) I guess the same as 1
3) compared to other sites, we have our experts who are real expirts. Everyone is great in lending a hand, the folks here are great, I've had dinner w/a buncha you guys. Other sites have BLOW HARDS prenting to be experts, Most everyone here actually owns a Vette, not just the T-shirts, lotsa posers in other sites. On my italian club site, the older members were terrific but the 45 and younger crowd were obnoxious. Just not my type of folks.  I like Vette folks MUCH better - LOL..

I joined and will continue because I feel confident that I can ask questions and someone, if no one else, Adam always comes back with an answer or some kind of valuable information.  You guys are always helpful and I appreciate your help.  You all always seem enthusiatic and excited about passing on helpful informationClap

1a) Why did you become a member? (for NEW paid members)
I joined after I bought my C3.  I had very limited knowledge and experience and felt this site would be able to answer any questions I may have.

1b) Why do you continue to be a member (for RENEW or LIFE members)
I found, in a very short time, how friendly and helpful the members are here.  I attended my first C3VR Gathering in Carson City last year and met some really great people.  I'm planning on going to the Gathering this year also, just to see some old friends and meet new ones.

2) What value(s) do you feel you are getting by being a member?
I feel that not only do I get good, accurate information on my car, but that I'm doing it with some really nice, caring fellow vette lovers.

3) How do you value your membership here compared to similar
memberships (paid or not). In other words...what differentiates C3VR
    from other similar sites?
This is the only site I belong to.  I visit other sites, but they just don't have the feel of family like this one does.   The people make the difference.   They care!!

1. b.   I continue to be a member of C3VR because everybody here plays nice. We can play cars in the sandbox all day and night without yoos guys throwing any sand in my face......mostly !!

2.  If it wasn't fer this place, I probably by now would have sold my 78. After I bought it, in retrospect,  thought the car to be sorta ugly, compared to my beloved, long-gone 65 Stingray.
Now, I find myself pulling out all the crapola and replacing with new stufffff and having a ball doing it. The car will never be an investment so i'm installing my own designs and personality. My very own sunday cruz-r and I owe it all to C3VR.Approve

3.  The difference in this site as to others, imho, is 100% the people. As some of you know I have, in the past, complained about this site being so unfriendly electronic wise with my computer.  I sometimes , in a 2 hr. visit have to deal with being kicked out 3 or 4 times and have to log back in with my username and password.....also I deal with my posts flying off into cyberspace......still, I luv it here and stick around. Hopefully when I get my new computer and if Sprint sees fit to bring DSL to us toothless hicks out here in the bush, I can enjoy what most of you do and maybe become a LIFER......Thumbs%20Up
I didn't mean this to be a rant but only as a tribute to show Adam how I feel about his great site.....As in most things,,,,,,IT'S THE PEOPLE

Adam.......This site will stay great as long as you don't allow too many people in here like me...LOL I'm never sure if I want to belong to something that would have me as a member.....Confused

I think it was Groucho Marx that said "I would never belong to a club that would allow me to be a member."

Of course, he also said "One night when I was in Africa, I shot an elephant in my pajamas. How he got in my pajamas, I'll never know."

Am I old or what?

1a) Why did you become a member? (for NEW paid members)

Since this is my 1st year I will answer this one.
Larry (1badLT1) told me about the site. Said it was the best. He was right.

1b) Why do you continue to be a member (for RENEW or LIFE members)

Havent renewed as I signed up for 2 years but plan on sticking around.

2) What value(s) do you feel you are getting by being a member?

Knowledge. Thats the big one. I have yet to see a question go unanswered. (Well I guess they still havent figured out whether to let men into the womens section or not but other than that). I have learned alot and most of what I learned is NEVER WORK ON MY OWN CAR.
Also someday I plan on doing one of these car trips and meeting the others from my area. That would be cool.

3) How do you value your membership here compared to similar memberships (paid or not). In other words...what differentiates C3VR from other similar sites?
There are other sites? Never felt the need to look for one or go there.
From the time I signed up and Cilah offered to get my car in my sig I have felt welcome. I didnt know didlly about Vettes. Nada. Nothing. Cept I bought one, thats all I knew. No one made me feel less of a member because of it. Heck now I even know they didnt make a Stingray in 68 and 69 was a long production year. See I pay attention.

1a I became a member by referral of a guy I met at a cruise in 2002 when I first bought my Vette. I visited the site a few times as a guest, and LOVED it. I was totally Shark illiterate and every question I posted was replied with a very friendly response. I was hooked and joined as a Gold Member. I do feel I'm here for life, and will probably become lifetime when the fundage comes in.

1b) I check out this site on a daily basis, and can't imagine not being a part of it.

2) Tech information, & friendship. Some members I have had the pleasure of meeting personally, and some I feel I've know even though I haven't. The word Family is used a lot here, and I totally agree. One of the things I really value is when a member has a tragedy or prayer need the response is tremendous. Which leads to question 3.

3) I haven't and probably won't find all of this in any other site. Adam is AWESOME in putting this together and keeping it going. I do check into a local site mostly just to check out upcoming events in our area. I have had the pleasure of cruising with them, but the site doesn't compare.

1a- If I am NEW, I joined becouse I had a C3. I saw it, (c3vr) at carlisle, when I bought the buggy.
1b-I am here to stay. Thumbs%20Up  The site is fun, entertaining, educational, and I am getting a whole new perspective on life after 50.
2-I can not begin to list the bennys. I enjoy the banter between the views of each entry. The C3 web on E-BAY is very beneficial, I have purchased a few of the needs. I am more aware of the gatherings, and plan to attend as many as possible. Assistance in how or what to do to fix, repair, find or learn about C3s. KUDOS to any and all who responded to my questions.
3-I am biased becouse I have not been a part of another organization, I have visited a few, but never happyCry.  I am home here, and look forward to going to the get-togethers.  THANKS
