I just added a new, pretty cool, real time member map.

It shows markers for each current member. (Only for US).

This marks each members ZIP CODE CENTER, not their actual address. That would be too intrusive for our privacy policy.

Click on the marker for member info.

Easily see who is around you.

If a member has chosen to hide their location, they will NOT appear on this map.

The map is only accessible by current members.

That's because it is by Zip Code center, not your exact address. That would be too revealing to have your exact address.

Gary,

You are not shown on the map because you set your profile to hide that info. If you make the change to your Privacy Settings to UNcheck the "Don't Show City & State to others" and UNcheck "Don't Show Anything to others" then you'll show up.

Wow! I didn't realize my zip covered such a big area. I'm about ten miles from what it shows to be the center, out in the woods. Panola ain't much bigger than a spot in the woods anyway. LOL

Heck Yeah ! We should all make this work for us. I became aware of a fellow member (OSSW1) reasonably close to me (85 mi.), and though it took us a couple of years to hook up ( Unhappy

I was working 2 jobs for at least the last decade +) he became my best friend in a very short time. I highly recommend C3VR members as acquaintances Wink
