Folks,
I would like to remind you that one of the things that we pride ourselves on here at C3VR is that we do not tolerate any form of "bashing," "flaming," being rude, or otherwise offensive behavior.  We believe that there is no such thing as a "stupid question" or "dumb opinion."  We encourage EVERYONE to post any question, comment or opinion that they want to without fear of criticism.

For the most part, this holds true, and is one of the main reasons people like it here and pay to be here. If they want to get a bashing, there are plenty of free sites at which that can happen.

As a reminder, rule number 1 of the membership agreement, which you agreed to when you signed up, is as follows:

To be free of ridicule and harassment.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion.  If you don't agree with someone on a topic, that does not give you the right to ridicule or (especially) harass that person.  You are more than welcome to disagree with someone, but express your opinion in a way that is not offensive to the other person.

This rule applies to the forums AND emails sent to a C3VR Member by a C3VR Member.

If anyone is found to be breaking this rule (1 time), their membership will be terminated!  If the offending member is a Standard, Gold or Lifetime Member, NO REFUND of membership dues will be offered!

Please note that this applies to any form of communication here or outside of C3VR. We have no room for mean people here.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support of C3VR!

Thanks for the reminder Adam. While I'm sure it is not in the majority's makeup to behave in such a manner, I hate to think that anything occurred to bring on this posting Ouch. C3VR is a very special collection of people that I am proud to be a part of.

That;s exactly why I stayed here! I used to go to another forum for Covettes and there were some nasty people there, who needs that. Everyone here has been nothing but pleasent, with me anyway. Everyone I've meet in person so far as been outstanding. Lets keep a good thing going.

Dave

I very much agree with the above. I would never intentionally hurt anyone on this site. If my sick sense of humor ever does, please let me know.

You are my family. Hug

Adam - THANK YOU! That is the exact reason I left the Italian car world.  If you ever want to see poison of this nature, check out GONE (GTO Owners North East).  I've seen near fist fights break out (I mean THIS close) due to a trophy not being awarded.  Ive seen accidents occur in a fitof rage.  I dont run with them any longer..  This place is good stuff.

Thanks Adam.Clap  I also belong to another car forum for another car I have.  Most of the folks at that forum are nice, but a few rude people have ruined it for the rest of us.
Confused  I still check in at that forum every day...but it is dead dead, dead.

I agree with what has been said by all.  I belong to other forums but I very very rarely post there.  I log on, take what information I can gather and then leave.  Seems like on so many other sites there is someone needing to feed their ego by putting others down.  C3VR has never been like that and I think thats why we have the great family we have here.  My thanks to all of you for keeping it that way.

I think it is good to have an annual reminder of the rules that we all agreed to when we joined.
For some of us that was a few years ago.
There is some good-natured ribbing here and there, but all in jest.
99.9 % of the members are just great down to earth people. Maybe because we have close to the least expensive Corvettes. No snobs in this club. I like it that way.
But of course, that's just MHO.
