Classic Corvette Enthusiasts Meet in Historical Charleston S.C. for the 10th Annual Member Gathering

C3 Vette Registry (C3VR), the only worldwide club for C3 Corvette enthusiasts, and its members are converging on The Palmetto State for their 10th annual member gathering, a three day event beginning May 17, 2012 at the Rodeway Inn in Mt. Pleasant, S.C. 75 members and 40 vintage Corvettes are anticipated to attend.

This year’s activities include visits to Folly Beach and its historical Morris Island lighthouse, as well as Fort Moultrie, a Civil War strong hold. There also will be a city tour, a dinner cruise and a day trip to Savannah, Georgia among the many activities available.

Site founder and Corvette enthusiast Adam Wartell said, “Our annual event is loved by all that attend. We also extend the invitation to non-members that share a passion for Corvettes and especially the C3 Corvette to join in the three days of fun.”

C3VR was founded and developed in October of 2001 by Wartell, whose love of the Corvette, along with his tech savvy background, led to the birth of the website, C3VR.com. The website serves as a place where members can share information, learn tips and seek specific advice for their Corvettes. C3VR consists of 587 members worldwide and continues to grow daily.

Wartell added, “Each year we gather in a different city to give our members around the country a good chance to attend. We divided the country into three regions, West, Mid & East, and rotate through the regions each year. Our 2013 gathering will be in the West, 2014 in Mid, and 2015 back to the East.”

For more information on this event or C3VR please visit www.C3VR.com or call 850-77-VETTE. Trial memberships are available at no cost, with other membership options available. No need to own a Corvette to belong to this club, which is open to anybody who shares the passion and love of these fiberglass eye turners.
