While Dave may be correct in one regard there is another possibility.

Go to the main forums list by clicking on the "C3VR Forums" link on the 'Community' menu tab/page.  Just above the list of forums you should see 'The time now is hh:mm am/pm' (with the hh, mm, am/pm filled in appropriately).  If everything is setup correctly in your forum profile that time should be pretty close to what your watch or clock on the wall is showing.

If that time is different (by hours not minutes) from what your watch or clock is showing you are in effect "Time Zone Challenged".  Go into your forum profile by clicking on the "Settings" icon which is located above the forums list (it looks like this -  Member%20Control%20Panel%20MenuSettings ) and then click on the link labeled "Forum Preferences".

Near the bottom of the list of settings is one labeled 'Time offset from forum time' with the date and time stamp of the host server displayed below it.  The host server currently resides in Arizona which is in the Mountain Time Zone.  Arizona is also one of the few places in the states that does not observe Daylight Savings Time (and is why you occasionally see ATZ - Arizona Time Zone - displayed in places).

So if you live in an area that does not "Spring forward/Fall back" you're lucky.  You can set the time offset once and forget it.  But if you live in an area that does you need to adjust the offset twice a year to stay in sync with the host server.

In my case I live in the Central Time Zone and Minnesota does observe DST.  So when DST is not in effect my offset is set to +1.  But when DST is in effect I have to change my offset to +2 ("Spring Ahead").  When DST ends for the year I have to change the offset back to +1 ("Fall back").

Larry, your offset should be set to -1 at this time of year (because you live in the Pacific Time Zone).  If DST is observed in your area you will need to change the offset to zero when it is in effect.

A little confusing - perhaps.  If you want to you can leave the offset at whatever you want and just ignore the "Yesterday" time label.  It will only be a nuisance if you let it.

Everything shifted on me by 1 hour and I think it was on New Years. Went into my forum settings and tried adjusting the time offset but it won't do a darn thing. Everything's an hour ahead no matter if I set it ahead or back by 1 hr or 2,3,or 4. Now I gotta do math in my head, (that ain't good),to figure out what posted when. Maybe the wife's right when she tells me I'm in a different time zone.

Wow Jim, thanks for the info!      I wondered why my time stamp was always different, and now I know.
