Good comments eldredjames. Sounds like there are a few differences in opinions which is common in groups of any size. First of all from a Canadian point, I asked Adam if the members map was going to include Canadian member’s locations, he emailed me recently and explained why it does not at this time, I hope to see it in the future. I also raised the question of the $50.00 difference in cost to become life time member from outside USA, as this is basically an internet site. No harm was meant by either of these questions, there are no other indifferences that I am aware of. I am considering this because I appreciate the depth of information/willingness to share this information and enjoy the camaraderie of other members, including the pokes and jabs in good fun from others. I believe that “I” fit in here for the same reason others do “we have a passion for our cars” we like to share or be involved in that passion, with others. I had the good fortune to participate in the Bend Oregon gathering which reinforced my beliefs in this site and the members here, thank you to those that attended. I am sure that others attending C3VR gatherings will find the same hospitality, it is the members and I look forward to meeting others in the future. As far as the extra cost of membership I think that $50.00 to mail a T-Shirt and Laminated Dash Plaque outside the US is a bit much. As for the survey, I replied and added my name to my comments but I will add, it is a survey therefore you ask for everyone’s opinion, a summary of results would be interesting to us all, to help build C3VR. I personally think posting parts of anyone’s survey should not be done, like the comments or not that was their opinion you asked for. Great site, great information and great people, time to move forward, have a great day.
Cheers
Eric…

Come on Lemon Grove, CA .......Really.....that just sounds like a dream vacation spot!
Interesting thought about why with our limited driving seasons on East coast why more members are on this side of the map. ( I know Adam rebates the East Coast people 50% of the cost)
Is there figures on what states actually have the most vettes registered....?
I wanted a Corvette my whole life, but I never dreamed of all the wonderful people I would meet because of it!
