Come on, fellers! Looks like it's this or nothin, until the software gets ironed out...personally, I don't like "Nothin"....this at least allows us to get on the site. There were enough problems with the other software that it just wasn't werking out well for everyone.
I remember when this WAS the site look...so each successive upgrade was much mo betta. Just as with Windows, new upgrade/updates don't always turn out too well.

Hang in there....Boss-man will get it done. |thumb| |wavey|

Just a little note from a guy that is a Webmaster. A webmaster is a name for the idiot that volunteered to maintain a website so others could enjoy the benefits.

From one webmaster to another - Thanks Adam Appreciate all that you are doing and trying to accomplish.

Thanks for the thanks! I think sometimes people don't understand how difficult it can be to maintain a site.

The Rich Text Editor is back!! Editing posts (new and old) should now be nice and formatted!

Next I'll work on the signatures.

Thanks for your patience.

I was getting a wierd error message on a blank screen - I'll see if it still happens. And earlier today, the prior posts were showing up as HTML  - didn't look like this does for sure...

Paul, you'll have to reformat your old post in the Rich Text Editor once, then it should be ok from then on.

New threads/post from the subscription forums(Humor, Off Topic, Anything Goes) are not showing on the 24 Hour Active page. Not exactly any kind of emergency, just a heads up, just in case. New posts/threads DO show in the regular "Forums" lists....Geek

Edit it, remove all the HTML looking stuff, then PREVIEW it.  Make sure it looks clean.  Then use the editor controls to reformat it.

I think the problem is you just need to get rid of all the HTML looking stuff to start.

This is by design.  I figure they don't need to be in there. That isn't really what the site is about.  If you want to see the latest in those forums, you can just enter into those forums.

Adam, another new one - when I am editing, I cannot add an emoticon to a post, The window comes up but nothing happens when you click on them.

Paul,
I can not recreate this one.  Are you sure you first clicked into the message box where you wanted the emoticon to appear?  If you accidentally click somewhere next to the emoticon on the tool bar, it will set the focus to the toolbar and then the insert icon may not work.

See if you can get it to happen again.
