Tux, now that is one sweeeeet C3.     That is what I think the C6 should have looked like.  Like you, I would want one too.  Thanks for posting.

You got that right, Tux...I would mortgage the farm to have me one of those beauties!...but I would really like to see a mid-engine Corvette...prolly won't happen though with GM struggling to survive. I fear for our beloved Corvette.

There is no substitute for low end torque!

The older Protos we've all seen, but they're still sweet, with a lot of the ideas put into production. At least the older designers were allowed to be wild.

As for the "C3R"...not so much...
Think about it like this...if someone took a stock bumper car, and modified it to look like that, most of ya would be pickin it to pieces.
For ME, it just don't look gud....sorry.

That C3R is one sweet lookin' machine, complete with chrome bumpers fore and aft.  I'll take one.  I agree that that is what the C6 shoulda looked like.

Some look great but I still drool over the ones made

I got a pic of me standing next to the 68 Astro Vette from a few years ago. The car, in it's present condition, is sad. They haven't really kept it up very well. Then again, it was never meant to still be around 40 years later...

The XP700 was re-done into the first Mako Shark, so in reality, BOTH of those cars are still around...which is good!

I like the front of the C3R, but the back is a bit off.   There are posibillities.
