Looks good to me.  It brings the era of the car into the era of the present with the web page design.  Looks like it could pass as a 79'.  When will they be available?  Carlisle would be a good place to introduce them to the public!   Go for it.

For me... instead of running a line thru the corvette text I would add a drop shadow to add depth to the text.  Is it all 1 color or can you do 2 or 3 color?  You could also add a drop shadow to the corvette to add depth and dimension to it.   Just a thought there.

Putting a "Face to the Name", Great idea, not all car people know what a C3 is.
Good thought boss.
I'll like it what ever way it comes out.

Looks fine to me. I have only one thing to input, and it's not a big deal, just a thought.
Since we cover the entire spectrum of "C3" Corvettes('68-'82), and some folks are chromies, and some are rubber babies, why not use a '73? Then you'll have a representation of both styles.

Just a rambling thought. The design looks otay as is, anyway.

I agree with Joel, a 73 at least had the chrome rear, of course I'm a chrome bumper guy.

This was created with an online company.  That model of C3 was the only one they had pre-made. Honestly, I was surprised they had a Corvette at all, let alone a C3!

I don't like the line through the text either. Just looks wrong to me.
I like the style of the text and the boldness of it, but I would try some shadow or other style.
Do you think it should say '68 - '82 for the uneducated?
Before I got one, I didn't really know the exact years.

I like it, but then again it looks kind of like the '78 SA 2 tone with the belt line down the center.

I like Joel's 73 idea, but would also buy the shirt as you have it displayed. I like it simple, not overdone.

Shirt looks good as it is but would look ALOT better with one or more chrome bumpers.

The 73 idea was perfect.

Looks good to me, but I would use a '68 chromie on the back, because that's when it all began with the C3 body style.  I'm a chromie owner, so I have to whine............LOLLOL

I like it, but if you feel the need to meet all "Three Sisters" C3 owners needs you could do something like what we did for the Bend gathering. I have the cars seperated out on Photoshop if you want them.  Just a thought.

I thought i posted a comment on this right when it came up---but it's gone now. Cry

I like the design! I think Dave W. had a GREAT suggestion---put "68-82" on there so the Corvette uninitiated will know what C3 means. Wink

That's better. Not sure about the particular colors, but I'm sure this is still in the mock-up stage. I also know the more colors, the higher the cost, so...one single color would work just fine, too.

I like it all black.  The red looks okay and I'm sure it's just because it's online, but the red almost looks like the whole car is tinted red. Wheels, tires, etc.  Black has more definition. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE. any color shirt other than white!!  Ash would be better and still show the logos great.  I like it anyway and will buy it.  Whatever it ends up being.

I like the idea of the C3VR.Com on the back and leave the C3 Registry on the front. (Marketing)
I like the "1968 - 1982 Corvettes" on the back but change the font to from one of the
years (68-82) emblem font. I agree with no white T and have a "81" (IMHO)

The all black looks the best.  A Chromie on the back would finish it off. Thumbs Up  I'm with a couple of others on "something other than white, PLEASE!"'  To be honest, I probably wouldn't buy a white shirt, even with a chromie on the back LOL, but an ash colored one...FOR SURE!longhorn2942010-07-17 08:38:23

I agree, think that a light gray one would look great with the all-black.

And since we have a '79, the pic looks great!

Are we going to sell them at vettfest in Effingham this year??  I like the idea of the C-3 years being on the shirt.  I think that a bright Orange or Yellow shirt would stand out.  We need to have a shirt color that will stand out in a crowd.  See you all in September!!!

Love the look too, but would not spell out "Corvette".. I'd  like to see it abbreviated "Vettes"

COOL!!!  Glad it was a black car, the red looked sunburned...although with the tops off, I often look that way!

Maybe the Boss-Man can provide some of these shirts for us in Effingham.  I already stuck that "bug" in his ear.  Maybe thats why he cannot hear me !!!
