The Brevard Children’s Hunger Project provides food to 3000 school children to ensure they have enough to eat and do not go hungry. CORVETTE SHOW TO BE HELD AT THE WORLD'S MOST POPULAR CRUISE PORT NEAR KENNEDY SPACE CENTER Cape Kennedy Corvette Club will be holding it's 10th annual Vettes at the Port show at Port Canaveral, Saturday, April 16 in The Cove waterside dining and recreation area from 8:45 a.m. till 3:30 p.m. The show is expected to draw more than 150 participants from all over the Southeast U.S. in addition to hundreds of spectators. Trophies will be awarded for the best Corvettes in 10 classes. For class details, see the registration flyer. There will be music; a silent auction, a 50/50 drawing, valve cover races, a scavenger hunt, door prizes and many of the restaurants will be featuring special discounts. The Port is a popular venue for the Show because of its backdrop of beautiful cruise ships and the waterside dining establishments. Many participants stick around after the show for a drink and/or dinner on the waterfront and to wave bon voyage to the passengers on the massive cruise ships as the ships glide past the restaurants. The Port also has a waterside park with covered picnic pavilions within easy walking distance of the show.

This is a 100% charity event with the proceeds benefiting Freedom Calls, a non-profit that provides Satellite communications to the front lines in Iraq and Afghanistan, allowing our brave Troops to stay in contact with their loved ones while deployed. This great charity has set up for a live feed to be broadcasted to Iraq from the Vette Fest 09� finale concert with great musical guests .38 Special, The Outlaws and Big Engine to name just a few, we will also have a few famous football players signing autographs, Buc�s cheerleaders and a very special guest from the state capital helping host the event� this year we teamed the Vette Fest 09� up with Harley-Davidson�s Bike Fest to make one Giant event we have dubbed �American Iron & Muscle Weekend.. in the 3 days we expect over 30,000 people to attend the Event and hundreds of Vette�s and thousands of bikes�
