The last "Hot Rod Cruise-In" of the 2008 season at the Minnetonka Drive-In will be on Thursday, October 2nd. Come on out to the western side of the Twin Cities metro area and enjoy some good food, good company, and an ever changing parade of "toys on wheels". The Minnetonka Drive-In is located on Hennepin County Road 15 in Spring Park, MN about 15 minutes west of the I-394/I-494 interchange. The cruise-in begins in the late afternoon and usually starts to wind down around sunset (a few diehards hang around until the lights are shut off for the night!). The earlier you get there the better the parking spot you can get. So let's see if we can fill up the place with C3s...!!!

Annual car show to benefit Alexandra House at Corvette Specialties. While Corvettes are emphasized, all makes and models are welcome. Food, Music, Door Prizes, & Trophies.

We do not charge admission, but ask that participants bring school supplies of any sort to donate.

Alexandra House is a local women's shelter. They take in hundreds of abandoned or abused women and their children. It is a full security facility, and includes education, vocational training, and counseling. They run a year-round K-12 school in the facility.

Classic Corvettes of Minnesota Presents The Second Annual Corvette Thunder Show at Ellingson Car Museum in Rogers, MN. 7 Classes/3 Trophies Per Class - Participants and Spectators will vote. Registration Fee $5.00 per car at the show starting at 9:00am. All generation Corvettes are welcome. This year we celebrate 50 years of Corvettes. Featured Generation this year is the C1 and the 2003 Anniversary Edition. Directions To Ellingson Car Museum from Minneapolis: I-94 West to Rogers, MN (Exit Hwy 101). Turn north on Hwy 101 (Right if you're coming from Mpls), and then turn right again at the first light. Turn right at the first stop sign (Frontage Road). You will pass Burger King on the right and Denny's on the left. Go approximately 1/4 mile and the museum is on the left past McDonalds.
