Creekside Gahanna. This is the 20th Anniversay of Vettes, Rods and Classics at Creekside, hosted by Capital City Corvette Club. It is being held on Saturday, August 6, 2022 at Creekside Gahanna at 117 Mill Street, Gahanna, OH. Registration is $15 and open from 11am until 3pm. Judging will be from 1-4pm with awards following. There are over 90 awards to be presented. There will be local restaurants and food trucks. There will be loads of door prizes and some fantastic silent auction items. There will also be a 50/50 drawing. Net proceeds from this show benefit Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus. Rain date will be Sunday, August 7.

Annual car show where fallen police, fire & military alternately are honored at our show. All proceeds are given to the families of the fallen heroes being honored. This year’s honorees are 2 of the 13 that were killed in Afghanistan last year (August 2021). U.S Marine Humberto Sanchez & U.S Navy medical corpsman Maxton Soviak. We will also be having warbirds fly over during the anthem at our show performing the missing man formation as well as live bands and the Reds HOF/Museum there. Several hundred show vehicles entered last year and we anticipate many more this year! Hagerty, All military branches, Humana, Pitboss Grills & many more are major event sponsors. We have a rather large showing of corvettes at this show each year and would love to have goodie bag items and/or raffle basket items for the event if possible.

This Sunday, Restoration Station in Springboro, OH will again host their "Fall Color Tour." This is a great event - lots of fun, lots of Vettes, great scenery, and did I mention that it's FREE!!! They do have a charity offering lunch for a nominal fee, but aside from that, there is no cost. There is no registration. Just show up. I've enjoyed this drive for the past 2 years and plan to again this year. The weather looks good - 65 degrees and sunny. I'm taking a buddy, so hopefully he agrees to having the top down. Restoration Station is a Corvette shop run by an NCRS Judge and great guy, Jeff Burnhart. I met him a few years back when I had some work done on my car. He opens up his shop for the event so you can see what kind of work they do. Restoration Station is in Springboro, OH. It's between Cincinatti and Dayton, OH, closer to Dayton.
