This is a public health issue that does not discriminate by age, gender, ethnicity, or socio-economic status. Help us beat last year�s attendance and donations!

Because of the fantastic attendance and participation in 2007, we raised almost $4,000 that will be donated directly to the Delaware Valley Alzheimer�s Association! There were 115 cars in attendance - up 25% from 2006. This brings our 4 year total to $9,400! Our 2008 goal is 150 cars in attendance and to raise over $5,000 for the Association.

A driven dedication to the Alzheimer�s Association marks the third annual Corvettes for a Cure on July 23, 2006. The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Phoenixville Kmart, located on 1000 Nutt Road. All event proceeds will benefit the Association�s Delaware Valley Chapter.

Participants will judge winners in the classes C1 through C6 and a Best of Show. Winners will receive trophies. The event will include door prizes and a 50/50 drawing.

Registration is $15 by June 23 and $20 at the show. Spectators are welcome for a donation of $5 at the show. Gates open at 8am for registration and Vette prep.

UPDATED 8/19/2004: Due to the untimely death of the owner of the Sunnybrook Ballroom, Henry Ortlieb, the American Dream Corvette Club has had to change the location of this years show. Henry died on a boating accident while on vacation in Costa Rica and his family has closed the entire Sunnybrook facility for an indefinite period. We have been scrambling to find a new location and only recently obtained permission from Pottstown Borough to close off High Street for 2 blocks in historic Pottstown, between Charlotte and Hanover Streets, from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Sunday, September 12th. The show is still from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM .... 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place trophies for each class along with a best of show trophy will be awarded. Pre registration has ended as of August 14th ... pre registered people will receive a participant trophy and a goody bag with this years show shirt and a collectible lapel pin, along with the usual goodie bag items. We are in the process of contacting all pre registered people to inform them of the location change and we would appreciate your assistance in getting the word out regarding the location change to everyone via the C3 Registry. Thanks for any assistance you can provide.

Keystone State Corvette Club (KSCC) is sponsoring their 1st Annual Dust 'Em Off & Start 'Em Up Fun Rally on April 18th (rain date April 25th). It is for CORVETTES ONLY and the emphasis for this rally is on FUN !! It will begin near the Downingtown exit of the Pa. Turnpike in Chester County and run through some scenic countryside into, and ending in, Montgomery County, Pa. (somewhere near where the Annual Corvettes For Kids Show is held). It will go for about 60 + miles taking around 2 + hours to complete. We have mapped out a VERY INTERESTING AND SCENIC route. Each car must have a driver (well, duh !) and a navigator. There will be Trophies, Prizes and Cash for first place in several categories plus a few other "mystery" prizes and cash awarded that day. Food and beverages will be available at the finishing location. This is a non-sanctioned rally and KSCC would like to make it an annual event. Entry into this first time event is limited to the first 40 cars to respond (we are intentionally keeping it small so we can make it FUN for all participants. Pre-registration, before April 3rd, is $8 ... day of rally registration is $15. Everyone is welcome !! Each August since 1986, Corvettes for Kids, Inc., has been sponsoring a Corvette show whose proceeds benefit local children with life-threatening illnesses or conditions. This year's spokesperson is Keith Horchak, an 8 year-old boy from Pottstown, PA. He is diagnosed with cerebal palsy, developmental delays, congenital hyprocephalus, seizure disorder, scoliosis, blindness, Huntington's disease that is dormant at this time and other conditions. His father is currently suffering from Huntingdon's disease. This family could really use your help. Location is Washington Township Elementary School on Route 100 just south of Bally, PA. Sunday, August 10, 2003 - Parking of Pre-Registered Cars Begins at 10am rain or shine. General Gate opens 11am to 4pm. Only pre-registered cars will receive t-shirts. Cost is $25 at the gate.

The Pottstown (Pennsylvania) Classics Car Club kicks off their Nostalgia Nights for 2003 on Saturday, May 3rd with a full day of fun !! From 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM there will be a Poker Run for pre-1972 vehicles / hot rods / special interest cars ... cost = $10.00 and includes free entry to the cruise night parking area. Prize money for the Poker Run = 1st place = $600.00 2nd place = $300.00 3rd place = $100.00, The Poker Run will begin behind the Pottstown Walmart just off Route 100 on Shoemaker Road and all vehicles in the Poker Run must be pre-registerd by April 18th. Following the Poker Run will be the first Nostalgia Cruise Night. If you go in the Poker Run, when you are finished you go directly to the Cruise Night parking area. If you do not go in the Poker Run, the Cruise night is from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM ... they will have a band (Flamin' Dick and the Hot Rods - a GREAT 50's, 60's 70's band) playing all night. Parking for the cruise night ($5.00)is downtown on both sides of High Street (Pottstown's main drag). They have the entire downtown strip of High Street dedicated for this and are putting speakers up all over the place. Bring a picnic or visit one of the restaurants / diners in the area. Due to limited indoor space, there will be a limit of 50 cars. Pre-registration strongly suggested - first come, first served. Show quality cars only. YCCC reserves the right to reject any car.

Set up: Concours will set up Friday from 3:30 P.M. to 10:00 P.M. and Saturday from 7:00 A.M. to 9:00 A.M. Everything must be in place by 9:00 A.M. Saturday and remain in place until 9:00 P.M. Saturday.

Cleanup will end at 12:00 Noon Saturday. Judging begins at 12:15 P.M.

Vendors: Booth spaces are available. Please call Rick McIlvaine at (717) 244-0557 for more information.

Judging: Takes pl~ce on Saturday, per NCCC competition rules.

Awards presentation will be held at 7:30 P.M. on Saturday.

Best of Show will be judged by the 2003 Pennsylvania Auto Show Chairman.

Please Note: While there is 24-hour security, we strongly recommend that you be adequately insured.

AMERICAN DREAM CORVETTE CLUB HALLOWEEN RALLY

PLACE: Mobil station at the Limerick exit of Route 422 & Lewis Road, Limerick, PA.

REQUIREMENTS: No real requirements. Dress up in your Halloween Costume if you can. Bring your Corvette if you can. Corvette not necessary. Bring anything you want to drive. YOU MUST HAVE A NAVIGATOR. We cannot allow anyone to attempt to drive and read the questions while driving. Open to all licensed drivers.

AWARDS: Plaques will be awarded for "BEST COSTUME", "CLOSEST MILEAGE", and "MOST CORRECT ANSWERS".

Not a race!!! Anyone who finishes in less time than the rallymasters have determined to be the minimum time to do the course will be disqualified.

This is fun, NOT A RACE!!

Anyone receiving a citation for a traffic violation will be disqualified.

Everyone will receive a goody bag of candy upon arrival at the Mobil station. There are two "Pit Stops" during the rally for those needing to use the "facilities".

Rally is less than 50 miles long and will take about 1 1/2 - 2 hours to run.

No one gets lost! Directions are explicit and include the names of all roads that require a turn. NO ONE GOES DOWN THE ROAD BLINDLY WONDERING IF THEY HAVE TAKEN THE RIGHT COURSE! Two cell phone numbers will be listed on the rally sheet in the event of a problem. The course requires leaving the vehicle 3 times to find a clue. We have been doing this rally for 4 years and everyone loves it. Last year we had a couple from New Jersey who ran it. No, they did not get lost.

We will shoot from 7 PM to 9 PM at Classic Pistol in Southampton. We are going to try and keep our Marksmen Night the 4th Thursday of the month. Everyone is welcome to join us. Club memberships are avalible, $100.'s per year. This membership allows you to shoot anytime you choose and also recieve a discount on guns, ammo, and accessories. After shooting we will go to Dunkin Donuts on County Line Rd. for comedy hour. MUST BE a CCDV Member to Participate!!
