John, that is "Tree"mendious. It is nice that it is still in the same area so Larry can go for a spin with you once in a while.
Plus it stays in our family, just great.

Well the news is out, and it was as john said a little hard, but it was good to talk with him about it, to know that it is going into a loving foster family.  i want to thank everyone for the thoughts and ideas about keeping it it was just the right thing, the right time, and the right person so after a while i know it will just feel and be right. thanks john, for making it painless.
L  now somw one has to help me update or delete my profile.

Congratulations John. This is more than just buying a C3. You helped Larry, and he helped you pair up the other vert, and you did this for much more than a selfish need to own another Corvette. A well deserved BRAVO!! Clap

Larry, you will always be part of our family - and you should keep the pictre of the LT1 on your profile. That's still in the family too! Wink

John, if I ever see you on the side opf the road in your LT1, I promise I'll throw you a buck!! Big%20smile

John and Larry, Very Nice! We can still get together and go for a cruise in these Vettes. Even if you want to be a passenger as well as a driver. I'm happy (1 Bad LT1 Vette) stayed here in the NW and close by. Let me know if there is anything that I can help with! Larry, you will always be "Raccoon Larry". Prayers are with you for a speedy recovery. Hooter Steve!

WOW.  I missed this whole thread.  Larry I just can't imagine the pain of having to sell your baby. Cry  But, PLEASE stay with the group!  You can try driving our automatic and see if that would work for you.  Ours has the newer seats.  Makes a BIG difference.  It's good that your baby stayed in the NW C3VR group, though.  Congrats, John!  kkfinch2009-01-19 13:36:38

Hey Larry, this C5 is still for sale.  It's an automatic.  I'd love to go look at it (then buy it!)

Hay Larry I feel for you! But I know that John will take real good care of your Baby. When I met John he did tell me that if he got another Vette it would have to be a convertible. By the looks of John's '73 it is well cared for and the Foster home will be full of love.

Larry and John,
I too somehow missed this thread.  Guess I've just been too busy.  Wow is all I can say.

Larry, so sorry to hear that you had to part company with your baby.  I've never met you, but I've read your posts and I can tell how much that car has meant to you.

However, it's so great that you were able to pick it up John and "keep it in the family."

Wow.  What a great place this is and what a great bunch of people.  I'm so glad I'm here.

I'm with you on this one Karen, this is the worst part of being away from this site for any extended period of time.

Larry I'm really really sorry to hear about you having to release your lifetime dream Cry  It pains me to see a great friend lose something they have dreamed about due to health issues.  I wish there was a way you could have kept your baby.

Larry, I really hope Dee and you will keep in touch with us all.  We would all miss you terribly if you didn't.

Now on a lighter note, CONGRATZ John, and thanks for keeping this beautiful Vette in the C3VR family Clap  So how much you want for that beautiful 73 LOL

Thanks Mark!
As far as the 73, even if life dealt me a bunch of bad blows,  I would be the only homeless guy in the world with a Vette.Rolling%20On%20The%20Floor%20Laughing

I could never sell it...
