The Ultimate Hot Lap

Watch and listen as the ZR1 tackles the twists and turns of "the Ring" and sets one of the fastest times ever clocked for a production car.

I have seen this video . If you get a minute, watch it. It is awsome. Two things are immediately evident. The ZR-1 is one fast car and the Nurburgring is the mother of all road racing circuits. I believe the ZR-1 now holds the production car lap record at the Nurburgring. A ZR-1 is the best performance car bargain on the planet!...but we already knew that....

That is one great video, thanks Jim.  Thumbs%20Up   It'd be fun to drive our vettes on that course and see how we would do.  Probably take 2-3 times as long as that ZR-1.

Jim Mero actually blipped 178 on the final straight. More amazing is that he  was able to scrub off 120 mph in a few seconds to enter one of the final turns. Thanks for posting this great video.
... And what is the price tag? ...
Current GM pricing has it around $103k.  I'm guessing that is pretty bare bones.  Aren't that many options to add but I'd say you'd be closer to $125 after the NCM delivery option and the 'optional dealer markup'.

Also read some place where only 1 out of 11 Chevy dealers are going to get an allocation for one.  That's going to be a tough ride buy!

Guess to win the lotto I'd have to buy a ticket first...!!!  LOL
