Wow bidding is fast and furious ain't it Big smile
Maybe if it had MORE than 9 options it would sell faster.
Very nice car, but it's way to pricey for me, and by the goose egg bid, maybe most of us. I think he needs to keep it another 30 years and double his money...........wonder what he paid for it?

Hmmm...doesn't have the original engine in it to start with....base/clear paint...
Really don't make a crap what options is has...back in the day, it was entirely possible that there were NEVER any two Corvettes built exactly the same, so that is a wash. The guy really don't wanna sell the car, period. He is apparently trying to make someone believe he just can't sell it, so he might as well keep it....
Can you say Divorce?
Bankruptcy?
What a goob....

I was gonna go put a $1 bid on it, but since the reserve is so high, I figured it wouldn't accept it....

Correct me if I'm wrong, but once you change as many things as this car has had, doesn'y that kill its collector value?

For some reason, Gomer seems to think that since this particular, BLACK car has those particular options, it is worth tons of $$$$, even without the original engine...
I'd be willing to bet that there is not another '74 built exactly like mine....does that make it worth $800,000?????? If so, It's for sale!!!
Geeeeez....real, '67 L88s don't bring that kind of cash without the original engine...and there were only 20 of them made....
This, folks, is what happens when friends let friends watch Barrett-Jackson unsupervised...

GEEZUS! Id say this guy is on GLUE - BUT the smell of his own bullcrap had to have displaced the glue.

Im selling a car - Its a 1981 Vette 1 of 1 with the original motor!  THRU EXTENSIVE research I can prove its 1 of 1. Its the only one that left the factory with the grain of the carpet going side to side instead of front to back. It has EVERY factory option including some that are not factory.  Call me nuts but if this 67 wasnt 1 of 1 in a rare color WITH the orig motor, i'd say its maybe an 78k car in this shape.   NOM figure what, 63k?  With the rare color add 15-20%?  A low option car even though its 1 of 1, I can justify more then 100k.  Maybe Im hanging with Corvette Craig too long, I just dont see it...
