Vette(s): 2005 Daytona Sunset Orange Coupe
----------- Sold 1974 T-top, 4 spd to BillKS
For that amount, ya could buy a real 63 Sting Ray and still have some money left over. Why get a model if ya can have the real thing? Maybe I can get the gov't to give me some "bailout" money. At least I'd be getting something for the money.
Vette(s): Gone, but not forgotten:
1974 Coupe Red, matching numbers,
Black Interior, L-48 w/ 4 speed;
1994 Admiral Blue LT-1 coupe, Black Interior
For that kind of money, I could have a fully restored '57 with dual four barrels and a four speed, could complete a frame restoration of my '74 and still have money left over for a nice garage and shop. Some people have WWWWAAAAAYYYY too much disposable income.
There is no substitute for low end torque!
