Would like to have that 'Woody'. Thumbs%20Up So sad to see all those classics rusting away. The worst part... I remember almost all of them when they were new! I think I'm uh gittin old.
It's funny how the grass is almost as big as the body in the first pic.

This is very cool. I just wonder how they made the rust on these models look so real? I liked how on the wrecked Vettes the body parts were torn and ripped. The realistic part was the overall setting of the salvage yard with parts here and there and parts missing from cars. All we need now is Gumby and Pokey to fix them up a rat rod!LOL Thanks Todd!

The "weathering" on those models is incredibly time consuming.  Never "weathered"anything quite that bad but used to build aircraft and "weather" them to make them look well used and battle tested.  Whoever did this work is a MASTER at it.

Lots of TIME spent building all those. That's what all the cars looked like when I grew up in NY. Salt on the streets during the winter, rust on the cars in the spring.
