I tried a search for this and couldn't find anything.
The outer fender top edges are rounded instead of being sharp edged. I don't have access to a another 74 to see if this is correct or not. The reason I ask is the right side is rounded and the left side is pretty sharp so which is correct. I think it would look much better if the fender edge came to a sharp point but I want to be doing this right.reformed edge

Two pictures of the new fender edge I created. Is this correct? If it should be rounded more I will sand it to get the right profile.
Thanks for any help you can give.

I tried to help get some pictures for you and typo'd fenders entering c3 finders and low and behold found a web site that has lots of pictures of C3 for sale all years.  You should be able to get an idea from them.  if nothing else.

http://www.vettefinders.com/index.cfm/fuseaction/corvette.PriceGuide3/Gen/3/c3-corvette-prices.htm

That is the link that will take to the c3 page.

Thanks for the link. Looking at the pictures it looks like a sharp edge is preferred. Some of those Vettes looked a bit wavy. I wonder if it was just the lighting or was the paint that bad.
I hope I can do a better job, LOL.

I looked at my 82CE.  It has been repainted but I do not believe they did more than just prepare the car for painting.  It does have edges not just rounded tops.  The rear fender does flatten out as it goes to the tail but I'm sure that is not want you were talking about.  Your pictures seem to come close to what I have.

They are NOT sharp.  The edges are rounded.  The rounding is a fairly tight radius, and may look sharp on a picture, but are in fact round.
