Finally got the C3 speedometer calibrated and working.  Changed gears myself anyone needs to know about that I have some knowledge now.

But While out for a spin with a friend that helped me he noted that the glass was coming off of the t-top.  I pulled over and he got to hold the glass top on the way home.  Question how does one go about fixing that?  I presume I need to take it to a shop but what should I lookout for has anyone done this before?

I'll be watching this thread as well, I have a friend who just bought an 82 with the same problem.

Talked with a glass guy he basically told me that it was an easy to repair if the frame did not come completely off as the hardest part is the alignment. He could do it for about $100 or I could and he told me how.  This is the basics of what he said.

1.  Get some 5 min epoxy (for me he recommend 30 min epoxy just to give me more time).
2.  Clean the glass and frame with a solvent that does not have an oil base.  Iím thinking Alcohol.
3.  Get some standard Home Depot wood clamps.
4.  Wood or something to prevent you from scratching the glass (Iím thinking light rubber).
5.  Put the epoxy on the surface being careful not to use to much.
6.  Then clamp it down.

Remembering that if the front is bonded good the side are not all that important as the front is what takes the full force of the wind.

Now he did say if I wanted he would be more than happy to recondition the whole t-top for me but in the end the results would be about the same.

I will be doing this myself and take some pictures when I do if anyone is interested just PM me and when I do it in the next couple of weeks I will send them to you.
