So I am looking for some helpful hints on removing body mounts.  One is out two are slowly inching there way with frequent spraying, but the one inside by drivers kick panel is going to be a problem.  they have never been touched to my knowledge but it seems as though it could be rounded (maybe from rust) what are your thoughts?

Photos are always helpful.

This is really just a comment to give people that have knowledge a chance to get a look at your issue after Thanksgiving.

Hope someone sees your post and can help.

I never seem to be able to download photos, not sure it its something with the computer or just me, usually I can get them in my file but that's as far as they will go.

Body mount bolts can be a major pita, even on cars withOUT rust. The best way to work with them is spray the poop out of them for days before, and use a big impact wrench to break them loose quickly. Chances are some of the caged nuts are gunna break loose.....if yer REALLY lucky, they won't. If they do, the only way to work with them is cutting the cage off, and you may even wind up cutting the bolts out.  Good luck! Thumbs Up

yep your probably right.  The hubbie is going to help me this week I've been staying out of my shop the last few days cause I smashed one of my fingers trying to loosen one of the bolts, the color is just coming back and I can almost bend it now.  It hurt so bad I could hardly swear and yes to all those people that met me at the gathering last year I am very good at the cussing (good old farm girl) Take care out there
