Anybody have any idea where I can get the flywheel dust cover for a manual transmission? As you can see above for some reason, and I think It may have been the starter, my cover got bent and in doing so allowed the crank counterbalance to hit each revolution. Cry

1974.....but it was not the original engine when I bought the car. As long as only the engine was changed I would think bellhousing and dust cover were original.
And don't think the tin snip idea didn't cross my mind!

Ermm  I would think that the local salvage yards would have these laying around by the dozen.

If you're not going the NCRS route - I would just trim it up, shape it a bit and put it back on, doesn't need to be perfect and should still work fine.

I had one on and off so many times, trying to isolate a noise, that I finally put a notch in it so I could put it on and off without removing the starter. It's been on for years this way.

 Good luck!  Thumbs Up
