Sometimes it seems like it doesn't pay to get things fixed. Terry, I wish I could have seen you blow your top! You'll get it! Next time ship it to Joel! It would have been cheaper in the long run!

Well....I'm certainly glad ya got it back, and it appears to be "fixed". I still don't know how the heck the slider(s) could possibly be going too far, and contacting other gears simply due to a shifter issue. I still think it was an assembly error, or possibly the wrong parts.
It won't shift into 2nd, and they say "you have to wiggle the shifter some to get it in"???
Wow...they saw you comin!!
It's a straight shot back on mine...no wigglin required.
Oh well. Win some, lose some. Glad it's back on track, Mr. Terry.

btw...I did look at the Muncie I've got torn down, and I just can't see what the heck the sliders could hit/rub on, except the gears of the cluster shaft. My bet is, they put in a 3rd gear for a BW T-10, instead of a Muncie. It will fit, but the cut of the gears are different, so that would make a noise, and yo said the noise started after the 2nd time they worked on it, and they told you they had to replace 3rd gear....which is what they should've replaced to begin with, but they didn't...
