What is the best way to remove the windshield wiper switch without bending the bracket to where it is useless?  Should I remove the dash or remove the speedo and tach cluster to gain access to the bracket holding the switch?

That is a hard one to answer.  I would not attempt to remove the dash unless it has been replaced already once.  If it is anyway brittle it will crack.  I have had mine in and out but it is only a couple of years old and I can do it easy enough.  So that leaves the tach and speedo gage.  It has a push lock kind of think on it.  I know because I broke mine and it is now hot glued inplace.

Hopefully someone can be of better help.

7. Remove switch from panel.
8. Disconnect electrical connector.
9. To install new switch, reverse procedure.

Gilbert, thanks for the tips and the words of caution.

Keith the diagram helps to show how its mounted and I think the instructions are going to save me.  Off to the garage!

Thanks

Bob
