Dave....are the holes in the head that the pushrods go thru circular, or are they slotted, as in they have flats on the sides? If the pushrod holes are completely round....you're not going to be able to run those rockers without installing guide plates. IF the pushrods holes have flat sides, then yer good to go. The reason is that you have to have some way to hold the rocker arms squared on the valve tips. If the pushrod holes are completely round, there is nothing to guide the rods, and hold them in line. The slotted type holes are to guide the rods. Without the slotted holes, you need guide plates. Just something you need to check before finishing up on the rockers....
