I hope I can attach a picture. I am rebuilding my motor and I canít remember what went into the hole. Donít know if it is oil sending unit or just a bolt. Please help me me. Close to firing back up.
It is just beliw the driver side of the distributor. I canít seem to down load a picture. How do I do it so you can see it.
THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH FOR YOUR HELP YOU ALL ARE GREAT.
Vette(s): 1972 conv, 4-speed, 350, 200hp, numbers match, rally wheels, war bonnett yellow w/white top. good condition, nice driver.
It is also the fitting to attach the plastic oil pressure line when you have a gauge in the cluster in the center stack in the passenger compartment. MOST of the sender units I've seen are mounted down by the oil filter. Never one configured like the one in the picture. If it works then it's good to go.
