So here is the skinny. My younger brothers bought this car  oh 6 or 7 years ago. They wrecked the bloody thing twice.  First time it was taken into a shop and repaired, the second time it sat for about a year to a year and a half. They put a new nose clip on and hood. However the issue is the fact that the right reer blinker is not working. Checked fuses, changed bulbs and all that good stuff. no luck! When headlights are on it works as far as one filliment lighting up. I cut the wires out of the splice and I am not getting power to the wire that initiates the turn signal. The front one works but the reer does not Any suggestions??
Thanks.
Will

There may be a problem with the BCM(Body Control Module), but most likely there is some wiring damage from the collision, and subsequent repairs.
Does the brake light work on that side?
Does it work on that side with the hazard flashers on?
You say the front one works...does that mean it "blinks", or just comes on?
I can send ya the wiring diagram, if ya want. It would be this eve. before I can e-mail it to you, tho...

Well, the wiring diagram show the brakes to be different bulbs, and on different circuits, so the brake lights working is irrelevant.Confused
Looks like the turn sigs work off of two fuses, thru the hazard switch, to the t-sig switch on the column, and then out to the bulbs. The right side wires are all green w/red stripe....if that helps. Doesn't look like the hazard switch would cause this problem, so it's down to the t-sig switch, or the wiring...

OH ST!
I just noticed it is a convertible!!Embarrassed
The diagrams, and in fact the whole systems are different!! The vert diagram shows a "Combined Rear Lighting Module"(left rear quarter panel) that the coupe doesn't have....dang! That changes everything...
I'll e-mail ya the correct diagram...it will help trace the problem.

The front one were the collision was works as normal. When lights are on it is lit up and when flashers and turn is on it works properly. However it flashes fast like a bulb was burnt out. But that is not the case. What would be the easiest fix? I saw that there was some sortof modual in the trunk but was not able to determin if voltage was comming accross the leads. Cant get a good read from it.

"You've got Mail!!"
I'll look the diagram over a little more, and see if I can help point ya in a specific direction. Seems like there is most likely an issue either with the module, or the wiring between the mod and the light socket. I wonder if ya take the terminal for the pass side turn out of the connector at the module, and shoot it with 12v if the turn sig bulb will light. That would tell ya the wiring is good, at least...
Lemmie tink aboot it a little more...

Yep there is or was or maybe somrthin of a leak on the pass side interier. it has been sitting for so long the carpet now needs to be replaced. But this is the reason why the car was parked in the first place. would you be refering to the modual in the trunk? or something somewhere else? I also believe that there was an amp or something on the passenger side floor board. Imma gunna have to see bout removing the seat and see whats under there.

Diagram shows the rear lighting module on the driver side rear quarter panel.
It has a Tan wire at terminal 2 in the connector(look closely at the connector...the terminals are numbered), coming from the BCM(Body Control Module). This is the actual turn sig input to the module. From the module, we have a Brown wire with a Red tracer on terminal 4, going OUT to the turn signal bulbs on the pass side.
If you can check the Tan wire for a signal from the BCM, that will tell you if the module is getting the turn sig command from the BCM. With a test light on terminal 2, you should get a flashing light with the pass side turn signal on. If you do NOT get a flashing signal on term 2 from the BCM, the BCM may be bad, OR the wiring from the BCM to the rear module has a fault somewhere.
If you get a flash on terminal 2, move the test light to terminal 4, and see if it is flashing there also. If not, then the module is bad. If it does flash on terminal 4, then you have a wiring issue between the rear lighting module, and the pass side rear light assy.
If that is the case, you could run a "jumper" wire from terminal 4(brown wire w/red tracer) to the turn sig socket(s) on the pass side, and they should work. If so, then you can either wire in a new wire on that circuit, or dig thru the rear harness to find the problem.
