Vette(s): Silver 1974 Convertible - L82 4 speed Low miles (was only 8,900 when I bought it in March 2006) - Now 54K miles. Original owner bought it as an investment for son's college expenses. 2008 Jetstream Blue Convertible
My wife has had a GPS for some time, but a sale at Target recently encouraged me to get one as well.  Never being one to "let well enough alone," I decided I wanted more.

I searched and found this website http://www.vehiclesforgarminnuvi.com/

On it, there are LOTS of different cars you can get to show on your GPS (I have a Garmin, and that may be the only one this works for).  They do have a C3 - it's a blue bumper car (I would have thought you would be able to change color easily, but no).  Dang, I need a 'Vert!  There are a couple of other Vettes, a 57 and a C2.  But it starts to get fun when you check out the TV and Movie cars.  I got the Ecto 1 from Ghostbusters, a Batmobile, a Tie Fighter from Star Wars, and my personal favorite, the Delorean from Back To the Future.

I was wondering if anyone else knew of any other good sites.  The one above is all free!  I was hoping to find some interesting voices, but those seem to either be more difficult to find, or pricey.  One site, NAV Tones has the voice of KITT from Knight Rider, but for $9.95 I just didn't think it worthwhile since I usually keep the volume muted.

I did find a few sites where there were instructions to "create your own" vehicle.  One guy did it with matchbox Batmobiles.  Kinda cool, but it sounded like a LOOOONG process.  I would consider it for my real Vette, but part of the process is getting 36 angled pictures of the car from the side and from above.  Not sure how I could get the overhead shots.

Hope this information is helpful to some of you

I wanted a Corvette my whole life, but I never dreamed of all the wonderful people I would meet because of it!
