Vette(s): 1979, 350sb, as my kids affectionately call it "shit brown" Corvette purchased in 1996. 84,000+ miles. Not a show car, but I love her just the same.
Please help oh sage ones! My 1990 Jeep Wrangler driver side blinker will not work. I replaced the front lamp last night and the flasher still doesn't work. Replaced passenger side front lamp with exact same bulb and that flasher did work, so I'm guessing the lamp is not bad. Could the flasher relay (a light blue round cylinder) on the fuse box be the culprit? Is it common for them to lose the ability to flash one side or the other without actually losing all flashing ability? Just want your input before going and buying the relay from Autozone.
Thanks in advance for ANY info you members can offer.

Is it just the front that doesn't work, or rear also?
If it is just the front, does the rear light come on but not blink, or does the rear light blink?
Does that one light come on but not blink?
Do the Hazzard lights on that side work?
If it is just one bulb that is not blinking, it's probably a problem with the wiring to that socket, or a problem with that socket itself, possibly a bad or loose ground.

Every day I learn I know less than I thought I did.
