Drive Your Corvette to Work Day
June 25 is the 10th Annual Drive Your Corvette to Work Day sponsored by Mid America Motorworks. This day celebrates the Corvette's birthday, June 30, 1953.
USA Today is helping celebrate the occasion with a special Corvette photo gallery on USATODAY.com. Enthusiasts can send in a photo of their Corvette in a unique or interesting setting, and the best will be included. Send your name, hometown, model year and a blurb about the setting to email@example.com. Photos will run online the week of July 5.
An added bonus from us at the Museum - submit a photo of your Corvette here at NCM (whether it is in front of the building, a delivery, on display, etc.) and include the NCM in your blurb, and if your photo is included in their gallery - we will award you a basket of Corvette merchandise!
20th Anniversary ZR-1 Party Attendees Support the Troops
This year's C4/ZR-1 Gathering was one of the biggest ever, and while the BBQ at Jim Van Dorn's was a time for celebration - it was also a way to give back and recognize the troops serving overseas.
Party attendees helped to raise money for a "war chest" filled with goodies to be sent to the 1st Platoon, 101st Airborne Air Assault Division, US Army in Afghanistan. So much was raised, in fact, that 20 flat rate APO boxes were shipped this week!
Thanks to everyone who came out to the event and helped to support this worthy project!

This week's question was: What recent movie commercial features a pink Corvette?
Congratulations to Kevin Minnich of Allentown, PA! He correctly identified Toy Story 3 as having a pink Barbie Corvette in the commercials. Kevin scored a Corvette t-shirt and free passes to the Museum!
