As of today, 6/4/2012, the "90-Day Trial Membership" no longer exists. This membership level has been converted to and replaced by a "Free 1-Year Limited Membership!"

What this means for members that were at the "Trial" level yesterday is that they still have the same access to the features and benefits of the site as they did yesterday, but now they have a new expiration date that is 275 days longer than their original expiration date.  Also, this membership level is free for the entire year. During or at the end of their free year, they may choose to upgrade to one of 3 paid membership levels, each offering their own benefits. To see a list of differences between the levels, you may view the Membership Comparison Chart.  To upgrade to one of the paid membership levels or to renew a Free Limited Membership when they are within 30 days of membership expiration, go to "My C3VR Membership" under the "My Account" menu on the site. (An email has been sent to these folks).

I will also be sending an email to all expired members to inform them of this change and offering them to come back and sign up for the Free Limited Membership if they so desire.

This also means that if you are currently a paid Standard or Gold member, at the end of your paid year, you may choose to downgrade to the Free Limited Membership, but remember that you will lose access to certain areas of the site.

Lastly, the Membership Info flyers have been updated to reflect the change. (If you have old ones, use those up first. People will find out once they get online that the level has changed.)

Hopefully this will help us gain more members and increase the usefulness of our community!
