2014 C3VR Member Gathering Place and Time (1/16)

As determined by the voting members the 2014 C3VR Members Gathering will be held in the Appleton/Green Bay area of northeastern Wisconsin.  Preliminary plans will be for a meet-n-greet evening on Wednesday, May 14th, 3 days of activities on Thursday through Saturday and a "see ya next year" breakfast on Sunday, May 18th.
 
Over the next few weeks a more detailed agenda will be brought together and a host hotel will be selected. 
  
Place: Appleton/Green Bay area of northeastern Wisconsin
When: Thursday, May 15th through Saturday, May 17th
           - meet-n-greet Wednesday evening, May 14th
           - "See ya next year" breakfast Sunday morning, May 18th

Fantastic -- we have a goal of seeing every AAA team in their ballpark -- collect a bat from them.  Looks like an early arrival for a ball game.  Thumbs Up

I assume you are talking about the Iowa Cubs in Des Moines.  Sounds like a great goal to get a bat from every AAA team.  Margie and I will be staying in Des Moines on Tuesday, May 13th, on our way to Wis‎consin.   Maybe we could get together to drive on into Wisconsin on Wednesday??  We still talk about the great time we had in Colorado this year.

Yeah --that would be the ticket, one day I may take a geography class and understand the layout of the US.  Des Moines would be good, however, it looks like they have an afternoon game on the 13th. We could make that, just get on the road earlier from Woodland Park.
 
Are we there yet?  We only have about 4 inches of snow right now -- right set of tires and a trailer for carrying the vette and we are good

OK, was this some kind of sick twist of fate? In my previous post I said I would love to catch a couple of baseball games on the way. Cleveland, Detroit, Cubs, Whitesox, I forgot about the Brewers...like everyone else :-)... Turns out the Brewers are the only ones in town during the gathering. Sometimes the stars don't align. I'm all for stopping to see the Mud hens though!
