Michele and I want personally say "Thank You" for taking the time and effort to come up to our neck of the woods. I honestly hope that everyone had a good time and enjoyed the food and the places we went. It was great seeing old friends and making some new friends. Ya'll are a great bunch of people! I really mean that.
This is only the second event I've had my hands in setting up. I have a new found respect for those who do this sort of thing. It is a very daunting task, especially with a large group. Over the years I've tried to learn from the "hiccups" that happen during previous Gatherings and try not to repeat them. But it seems no matter how much planning and prep work you put into these events, you'll always have a "hiccup" or two. If your a person like me who is obsessed with perfection and fears mistakes and failure, this is not a good career field for you. Lol.
So that being said, I want everyone to know that if there was something that didn't go right or something that may have offended/upset you it was not intentional by no means at all. Ya'll are our friends and I don't disrespect my friends. Unless it's Dave.
Before I forget...for everyone who went to the GM Powertrain Plant and if your not aware of it. There is a slip of paper in there for the GM Supplier Discount for Friends. It is a discount that only employees of GM can provide and comes on top of any current incentive or rebate.
Hmm, maybe I could be enticed in a new Stingray instead of a Challenger.
Thanks again everyone!
