As Dave mentioned in a previous post we are planning to visit the Boeing Assembly Plant in Everett WA. on Thursday, July 14th. The plant is about 25 miles north of Seattle, 70+ miles from our hotel in DuPont. For those of you interested, here's a link to the Boeing tour website:
Tours are open daily M thru F from 9 to 5:30. Tours depart on the half hour and each group is made up of 50 people. Each tour lasts 90 minutes plus some extra time to spend in the Gallery and the Gift Shop. Summer is the peak season for tours and they highly recommend that we purchase our tickets in advance by mid May to make sure we get the day/time we want and have the ability to tour together as a group. Pricing is rather reasonable at $20 per person. ($18.00 advance pricing was eliminated May 1st - see below)
With Thursday being our first full day of activity and Wednesday probably being a major travel day for some, here is the schedule I am suggesting so we avoid as much Seattle traffic as possible without getting up at the butt crack of dawn.
8:00 meet for coffee/breakfast - plan on a good breakfast since we may not get much of a lunch
9:00 leave for Everett
11:00 arrive Everett plant
11:30 Everett plant tour
2:00 depart Everett plant for Hotel/LeMay Thursday Night Cruise In

Looks like we have 23 confirmed for 24 tickets and Dave076 has confirmed that he will not be using the 24th ticket. If no one contacts me by next Monday 7-11, I will call and cancel that ticket. Please let me know if you have any further changes or questions, Thanks and see you next week !!
So that's 24 confirmed tickets - PURCHASED for 11:30am, Thursday July 14th with one update, the advance purchase price of $18.00 ended May 1st, go figure ??!! So I purchased 24 @ $20.00 each with no additional charges for taxes etc . Sorry the slight increase but I didn't think the $2.00 per person was going to change any of your plans.
Cinor - I wasn't sure of your daughter's age so I purchased an adult ticket for her. Please also note the minimum height requirement below. If she is under 15 and over 4ft., we can change her ticket to $15.00 and save you $5.00.
If you have not already reviewed the list of Visitor Restrictions on the Boeing website, below is a copy from my purchase confirmation.
Please let me know if anyone has any issues !!
John
I am 110% okay if you wish to pay for your ticket when you arrive in July. For those of you that cannot sleep with that $20.00 per person hanging over your head till then, payment can be sent to the address below. Please no 1/4 million dollar wire transfers from Nigerian Royalty !!
