How to determine the month and year your C3 Corvette was built

You can determine the date your C3 Corvette was built by looking at the codes on the "Trim Tag" on your Vette.

The Trim tag is located on the driver side "A" pillar, just outside of the dash area. You can see it when you open the door. It contains info for the build date, interior trim color codes, and external paint codes.

Take a look at the example below, then find your model year in the list below the example to find code definitions for your model year.  The letter is the month and the number is the day of the month it was built.
