i came across a 75 convertible with both tops not too bad, good driver but when i checked vin # and trim plate, paint code came up as steel blue which there was only like 1200 of that color for that year, car has potential nice color scheme:steel blue saddle int. white top just wondering if it is a nice buy or not????

Really not possible to tell you if it's a good buy without more info, such as pictures, and a "price"

The color combo is a nice one. How nice is the car, tho? A "driver" to me may mean something totally different to someone else!
More info please? What color is it now, 'cause it sounds like it's not the color the trim tag says...

A '75 isn't too great on values from the horsepower perspective but it is the last year for Corvette convertibles until the later 1980's. That alone can give it desireability.
