A Corvette Tale
She quietly awaits in the darkness of her room,
occasionally a light and a pass of a broom.
It's silent and lonely, winters rest proves good,
as she cherishes the waxing of her body and hood.
Her tires are cleaned and wheels aligned,
interior is spotless, boy how she shines.
The engine is tuned, her gauges are true,
as she acquires a longing for spring to break through.
Once more her key turned, sweet sounds to our ears
her beauty is stellar, her engine we'll hear.
And so as we sit behind the wheels of our Vettes,
our questions are answered this legends the best!

Vette(s): 1976 Brown with Buckskin Interior. I bought her on 9/15/03 and just received it on OCT 1st 2003!! It needs interior work, and some things under the hood, but I am so excited! Just waiting for Summer of 2004 to totally show it off.

When must the Eagle cease to dream,so that he may wake to fly again in Corvette Heaven? Why must he wait until another dawn comes to the land of the Earth,before he can rise once again to the world of the Pheonix,and rule the world of the mustangs,and the cobras,and the vipers? He must wake to again take control and rule the Moon, & the Earth on which such mortal man roams & has grown to love the dreamwalker predator known as CORVETTE!

Yea,though I walk quietly with a big stick through the valley of the darkness of non-Chevys,I walk with head held high as I near the predestined gaze upon the windwalker known as Big Red,the '79 Corvette,whose days are spent from now & into eternity,with the one called Sasquatch,the man mountain Martin,whose phoenix has risen from the ashes of many bad moons to fulfill a destiny unknown among mortal men.May the Eagle have pleasant Dreams.
