There was a good article in Corvette Enthusiast about the auction and Vettes.. I believe it said that 1 in 7 cars on the block were Vettes... and these are "no reserve"!

Wake up people 27min.I like looking at the cars but I really like to see fools and their money soon parted. I also try and remember the cars from last year and see if they turn a profit. Those are the people that don't give a damm about the cars.Couldn't tell you the diff. from a crankshaft and a spark plug!!!

I am watching right now. They said over 1200 cars will be sold, with about 150 corvettes included.......
About all the prices, I disagree. You can still find some good buys. You couldn't build the car for the price.

Vette(s): 1972 conv., sunfire yellow, blk interior, blk vinyl and convertible top. Off frame restoration with American Speed 383 stroker engine producing 500hp plus a 200hp NOS system. MSD ignition. Hooker super competition headers with chambered exhaust.
From what I saw tonight, there was was some really good buys and i'm sure some of those sellers didn't recoup 50% of what they had in the cars. It will be interesting to see what the C3's do this week.
I noticed the same thing on the 68. Does anybody have any idea why it sat so high over the rear wheels?
The auction continues at 4 pm today and goes another 5 hours.
What did you think of the custom vette that went for 33K?
