That car is a museum piece and will never see the street. Even if I had that kind of scratch, I could never buy a car that I couldn't drive.
If you had the scratch, you could drive it! A long time ago, when vettes first started becoming really collectable, it was said that numbers 1,2&3 were destroyed after testing. 'course it was also said that most of the legendary Grand Sports were unaccounted for, funny how these cars appear when the value skyrockets.

I have a friend that actually caught a lot of grief over a modified '53. He found it neglected and already heavily modified and restored it back to it's modified state. It was an awesome car!

I saved the pictures. That's the closest I will ever come to owning that one. I would have to drive sometimes, but it would be rare.
