Vette(s): Used to own a 1979 Corvette now owned by JB79
I never noticed before I saw this picture of a C6 from such a low angle, but it's front fenders are slightly flared, remenicent of the C3 Shark:

Shame I'll probably never own one.

The car look better in person than any photo I have seen. We have two of them at the college, and I can't drive them. Only the GM dealer instructor can. Bummer.
actually, i think there is alot of similarities between the c6 and
the c3- most of which i think is intentional- look at the doors and
rear fenders- there is a slight coke-bottle shape like the sharks-
the tried to put more of a boat tail on the back end as well. they
still have the quad-round tail lights too. the front end is
obviously the strongest similarity. (minus the bug-eyes)
personally i think that each year has many of the same design
features carried over- for example the 84 at first looks nothing
like a c3- but if you compare line by line, curve by curve, they
look very much alike, aside from stretching and flattening the
shapes.
most c2 and up vettes have the bubble rear fast-back style
windows
they are all full frame two door designs
they all had flip open hoods
they all had tapers at the nose (c3-up)
almost all vettes have the four tail lights (in one variation or
another)
there was most always a center console- two seater config
just my 2¢

Our CFO just got a new c6. Its really nice, but I still like the classic styling.
