Does anyone here belong to the C6 Registry? Hertz is renting C6 Corvettes at several locations throughout the US and the C6 Registry has a discount available to members. I was wondering what the discount was and if its worth joining just for the discount. My idea is to fly to the C3VR gathering and rent a C6.Thanks.

There are quite a few of us that are also C6VR members. As is the case with C3VR, you do NOT have to own a C6, or ANY Corvette to join. And it is at this time still a gratis membership.
Shoot...I think even Micki(greypoupon69) is a member there, which proves that ANYONE can join!
Some of us have tried in the past to get some action going over there, just so it doesn't look so dead. Might be time to give it another shot....how 'bout it ya'll?

btw...you DO realize that C6VR is our sister site, right?Adams' Apple2008-08-06 10:32:42

$65.00? Maybe that is considered free if you own a C6?

I be a member and have attempted to lend a hand in providing a shot in the arm upon O'Kshun.... but not so much lately. I like that rent a C6 idea for the gathering once it is announced. Providing the discount makes it reasonable and the gathering is far enough from Indy to warrant not driving to it.

I own a c6, and 65.00$ is 65.00$ no matter what you own, I wasnt aware of it being free to join, must have missed that part someplace. I did visit the site once but it was dead didnt seem to be anything going on. Alot of those guy's are hung up on corvette forum, it's very active on that site. I enjoy C3VR much better. Good people, good info, good gatherings and a crazy women that drives musterd colored corvette'why to fastClapThat should take the heat off you Joel.

We have apparently been talking aboot two different sites...my apologies...
Adam has the C6VR site, not the C6 Registry. Soooo...C6VR is prolly NOT the site in question, as far as the rental....

Sorry for the mix-up, folks.
