I live in MA, Can't get collectors insurance ( or antique plates) till car is 25 years old. I have to pay full boat for regular auto insurance, at least until my 82 ages a few more years.

DW,
I started a thread on this in October, but I can't find it.
I chose Hagerty for $256 yr (including minimum flatbed service $15) with an agreed value of $30k in NJ. I sent them my personal policy & they matched it in all areas.
As far as I was told, there are no milegae restrictions, but it is limited use meaning that this car cannot be a daily driver.
According to their web site, it is not mandatory for the car to be 25 years old.
Here are the answers to some questions that I sent them:
Hope this helps,
Anthony

It's actually the same company that the previous owner used, so they would be getting the same car, different owner.
Guess I'll give them a try.

Maybe they take into consideration where you live. How many days a year can you drive the beast?

You are right dave, They know that there is snow on the ground 6 months of the year and rain on the balance, We do have a nice July and boy do the nice cars come out. I plan to ship mine to the lower 48 states were you all live and enjoy some of that long paved highways you have.. But you cant beat the auto insurance price..
