UH....well...kinda sorta. The first Z06 cars were built in 1962, but they were '63 model cars. I'm in a splitting hairs kinda mood....LOL
A good friend of mine bought 2 Z06 cars new. The first, he had for a couple of weeks, and totaled it one night when he fell asleep on the way home. Cry  He wrote a letter to GM explaining what had happened, trying to get another one, but, since they were a very limited production car, and most were going to racers, he had no luck. Then, about 2 months later, he got a call from someone GM, asking if he still wanted to buy another Z06....which he did. He kept that car until about 6-7 years ago, when someone offered him a sum of cash he just couldn't turn down. Rumor is it was north of $250,000. I think it recently was sold thru a Mecum auction, too...Cry
