I really appreciated what he had done, and got me to thinking...

Has anybody else had any similar experience and wanted to share it with the rest of us? Thanks

The guy I got my Vette from sent me the right side A/C duct he found in his garage and a couple of reciepts. At a cruise-in a Vette guy told me how to adjust the backs of the stock seat backs up a little forward and there is the guy at GM Toys in Portland that put a door hinge spring in for $20. Corvette parts catalogs that are sent to you free are great! And all you guys are always there for the many questions. People here like Todd (767REP) has offered to help me out if I need it with future projects (interior stuff). It's a wonderful world of Vette people!

A few days before the '08 Gathering, one of the members of our local club gave us the front license plate cover for the '85. He had it laying around, and figured we could use it. Good thing is, it's the same color!

There are a lot of nice folks out there...this kind of thing goes on every day. We sometimes forget to thank those who do help us. Tux likes to call it "Paying it forward"...
So, to of ya'll , GOOD JOB, and THANKS!
