Ranging only from 1967 up to the 15th of January, 2009, that total number of Corvettes is 749,838 for all 50 states according to the list below.

Add in the 749,838 reported to be registered, to the 1953 - 1966 production numbers, then thats a total of 913,879.
Total Corvette production, according to the Corvette Action Center, from the first MY1953 and up to and including MY2008 is: 1,483,729.
These numbers mean that there are approx 569,850 Corvettes unaccounted for!!
And we still don't know about all the 1953 - 1966 that exist...and what states they are registered??!!
Given that a few here and there have been totaled, burned, parted out, put in junk yards and hidden in a barns, etc., but thats over a half million Corvettes we can't find!!

Ebo, I did a search and found this from back in 2008. If you go down to Dave Wright's post, he has a link to some pictures, etc.

Oh Man, what a crime! It's amazing how many tires are still up!
I googled this last night and found a ton of info on it..crazy..hey Lukes you feel a covert mission coming on?..I wonder what it would take to get them out of there.I guess 36 tow trucks at least.

If his estate has them I'm sure they will be up for auction as soon as possible. The chance for getting a good deal would be slim to none. BUT, if they were to want to give me a few, I'd be glad to come get them!
