I canna drive, I only did one side of my weather stripping, I would get a little damp today. That'll teach me to put off until tomorrow.

Vette(s): My 1974 Vette sold last August 2014. I am still willing to show up to events and local gatherings if anything happening No new vette yet.
I drove my vette today. It says 20-30 % chance of rain between 8 am and 10am then partly cloudy all day. I took her out. for ten min in sprinkled. not heavy enough to need the wipers. this is the only time it gets a shower. other than that i keep her nice and dry and polish and wax her all the time. I figured i would risk the rain and the 5 or so leaks since it is the one birthday our vettes have a year. i got towels for each spot a leak may occur. no sitting down on a soaked seat for me.

I drove mine to work today! I little spritz of rain on the way in, but the way home is supposed to be prefect for tops off!

Larry, the rain was movin' your way when I watched the weather at 4:30 yesterday morning, and I thought the most I would get heading west was a few splashes off of the road. Wow! The rain I hit certainly didn't show on the radar! Good thing I had the top up!
However, the amazing thing my wife pointed out was - it didn't melt, as I had lead her to believe it would!!
The drive home was wonderful with the top down, but I only saw one other Vette on the road the whole day. Damn owners (oh, sorry, "Leasers").
I wanted a Corvette my whole life, but I never dreamed of all the wonderful people I would meet because of it!
