Congratulations Jim. I am sorry for missing
the event but given the weather on Saturday I elected not to drive the
Vette up the road. Hasn't rained in months and the day of the event we
get a tropical system. Sorry I missed your win.

Great car!! Do not change the color if the yellow is the correct
color code! I would love to get the engine info from you for
changing out my 70 in the future! Besides you have nothing to be
ashamed of, you have an award winner and its pretty to boot!

Vette(s): 1972 conv., sunfire yellow, blk interior, blk vinyl and convertible top. Off frame restoration with American Speed 383 stroker engine producing 500hp plus a 200hp NOS system. MSD ignition. Hooker super competition headers with chambered exhaust.
Scott,
I don't blame you for not going. I knew the rain was coming from the south and figured you were getting it saturday morning. The sky was clear when I left home but the rain started shortly after we got to the show. I'm much happier with the rain than I could have been with any award. God knows we needed it.
Donnie,
The car is all matching numbers other than the engine and I have the original engine. I'll be glad to share the specs on my engine but you can "google" "American Speed Engines" and get the info on the 383 Enforcer 500. Although I love red vettes, i'm not ashamed of yellow either. My 66 which I drove 9 years was yellow also.
