Congrats!!  I made part of the show on Saturday, but I guess I missed your car.  I was rushed between seeing the cars, dealing with my friend who was sick, and having to get back to Dallas to get ready for work.

My car will be finished by next year and it will be in the show!

By the way, the engine and trans are finished and ready to go back in the vette next week.  The tests on the engine (numbers matching 350/200hp) now rate it at over 350hp with 190lbs of pressure.  (I'll be honest, I'm spouting off numbers that don't mean a lot to me.  I know the hp part, but the lbs of pressure is beyond my knowledge.  I just know it will be a lot faster!)

The 4 speed trans (numbers matching as well) is strong and solid.  The next step is to change the rear to handle both of them.  I've been told to expect to go through a lot of tires!  I can't wait to get it back!!

[/QUOTE] Yeah, I remember, Joel.  Sorry that I got you into trouble. I manage to do that without even tryin'!!

Thanks everyone for all the great feedback!!  This forum can't be beat!   My car is not really a show car, but I love it just the same.....that's why I was so shocked to get a plack!

I would love to hear of other's winning in shows....don't be shy...post your story!!
