Larry, you never hinted at PF you were in the market? I drove my 76 for all those miles and the other half never complained once. Matter of fact, don't let this out, but, we wish the 2007 meet would be in Florida so we again could travel all the miles..What fun we had. Then I could stop by Hwy 129 for a run at the 11 miles of pure corvette road america; once, twice, maybe three more times.. Oh another two corvette family, well I guess once the kids are done with college, I'll take their car's and Elba's car, sell'em and look for another one fur me
..Ho um..
..Sweet deal buddy..Terry

Terry, I think Elba had just about enough when she came down from the Dragon

As far as each of you waiting until kids get through college don't bother. I have one who has done her 1st 4yr stint and is headed into her 2nd 4yr stint.
Her younger sister is a junior in High School. College is an I owe, I owe thing. Maybe someday it will pay me back. (yeah right) My oldest daughter says that when she becomes a dentist her mom and I won't ever have another dental bill. I say how long do I have to live to get $200K back? Maybe if she puts us on a friends & family plan. If so your all invited!

Don't know Scott, I hadn't really thought about it. My guess is that my wife is going to want to drive this car. I have to admit I think I want to as well. If not for any other reason I just want to drive with the top down. (My 1st vert.)
As of yet I haven't went to pick up the vert. Tenatively I am going to try and get it on Thursday. This is depnding on the weather and my work schedule. (Too many irons in the fire)
If not it may be next week some time. Primarily because it looks like rain this Friday - Sunday.
I know that sounds silly to some but thats the way I feel about a wet vette. My thought is that if it isn't being washed and it's wet it must be a lease car.

I recgonize that not all feel that way but to each his own.

I realize Corvettes are made to drive and I put about 100 miles on the 71 today. But... If mine get wet its because I am washing it or at a function or the weather man lied.
Talk her into driving the Vert and you bring the C3.
Suzy and I are driving separate to this one so we can bring both cars.
