Well! One of my 1st snags for '77 t-top in Eagle Pass, Texas - Farm Bureau - won't give comprehensive policy; need suggestions about insurance at reasonable price FULL COVERAGE. Can't see investing $$$ on a classic-to-be w/o that security. Ron |confusing|

My agent here in PA just hooked me up with American Casuality Insurance. I pay $187 per year for full coverage for an agrre replacement value of $12K. The only limit is I can only drive 3000 m iles a year, which isn't a problem for me. I don't know how much you drive yours but I thought it was a great deal

Vette(s): Re-acquired 1982 Bright Blue Vette from the guy a sold it to 13 years ago. 1993 40th Anniv. Ruby Convertible- purchased for my wifes 40th birthday-It has Chromed Grand Sport Wheels, Grand Sport Flares and a functional rollbar.
I am currently with State Farm in Arlington, TX. I had to have the 82 appraised and then they gave full coverage at an agreed value of $12,000. I need to find a cheaper deal but haven't taken the time. Some of the collector car insurers around here have some strange restrictions. For example one guy told me that I could get real cheap insurance at a much higher agreed value but I would be limited to driving to and from official Corvette functions. No more driving to work or out to dinner. Well right now that is unacceptable. I drive my Vette everywhere. I could live with the higher premiums from State Farm if I could get the agreed value up closer to what I have in the car. |eek| |ohwell|

I have my insurance through Allstate. I had it appraised and certified by the appraiser to Allstate. I am insured for replacement value without any mileage restrictions. My insurance for the winter is rated at $37 for 6 months. That only covers if it is damaged in the garage or stolen. My premium for approximately 9 months is only $187 for full coverage. My agent has designated it as a collectors vehicle to eliminate the mileage requirement. At least that is what I understand. |hammer|
